How Many CE Credits Do DE Home Inspectors Need?

• License renewal for all Delaware Home Inspectors is August 31 of odd-numbered years (2021, 2023, etc).
• Must complete 40 hours of approved CE by the end of each 2-year renewal period, with the following exceptions:
  • If it has been less than 1 year since you first became licensed as a DE Home Inspector, you are not required to earn any credits for this period.
  • If it has been more than 1 year, but less than 2 years since you first became licensed as a DE Home Inspector, you must earn 20 CE credits for this period.
